YOUTH (MARTIN GLOVER)

Martin Glover, known by his stage name Youth is a record producer and a founding member and bassist of Killing Joke and a member of the Fireman, along with Paul McCartney.

Youth is most famous for being the bass player in Killing Joke. In 1989, Youth and Alex Paterson started the WAU! Mr. Modo label. In the early nineties, Youth formed techno and house music duo Blue Pearl together with American singer Durga McBroom. They scored a handful of hit singles including their blue vinyl debut “Naked in the Rain“, which reached No. 4 in the UK Singles Chart.

Youth’s Butterfly Records label has produced artists such as Take That, Wet Wet Wet, Tom Jones, The Orb, System 7, Maria McKee and Heather Nova. Youth was the co-producer of The Verve‘s Urban Hymns and Dolores O’Riordan‘s ‘Are You Listening?’. He has worked, produced and remixed with many artists including Kate Bush, Guns N’ Roses, Primal Scream, Embrace, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Crowded House, U2, Bananarama, INXS, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd and The Charlatans.

He is credited with founding the first psychedelic trance record label, Dragonfly Records, as well as the Liquid Sound Design and Kamaflage Records labels. Youth has received numerous awards over the years including Soundedits’s The Man with the Golden Ear Award

and the PPL Music Producers Guild Lifetime Achievement award.

RAFAEL ANTON IRISARRI

Rafael Anton Irisarri is an Ibero-American composer, producer, curator, and mastering engineer working within ambient, drone, modern classical, and electronic music. Born in Puerto Rico and raised between San Juan and the United States mainland, Irisarri grew up moving through cultural and geographic displacements that created a lasting preoccupation with memory, distance, and the emotional weight of place. This perspective, informed by the physical presence of landscape, weather, and movement in daily life, shapes an aesthetic defined by harmonic density, measured pacing, and a clear sense of locality as a spatial and emotional force.

Irisarri approaches composition, performance, and studio practice as one continuous process. He works with a vocabulary guided by tonal shifts that alter focus and perception. Using electronic, acoustic, and recorded sources, he builds structures that unfold gradually through resonance and duration. These principles define his recordings, live performances, and sustained studio work.

His music first reached a wider audience through Seattle’s electronic community in the 2000s with two full-length albums released as The Sight Below on Ghostly International. The project introduced a distinctive language of blurred guitar, submerged rhythm, and meticulously arranged textures. It formed the foundation of a practice that moves between drone, modern classical writing, and electronic forms while reinforcing the connection between his studio work and his detail-driven live sets.

In 2010, Irisarri founded Black Knoll in the Pacific Northwest. After relocating to New York’s Hudson Valley in 2014, he developed it into a studio known for collaborations with Ryuichi Sakamoto, Terry Riley, William Basinski, Grouper, Julianna Barwick, MONO, Emeralds, and Devendra Banhart. His engineering credits reflect a disciplined attention to clarity, technical nuance, and sonic coherence. These qualities have shaped well over a thousand recordings throughout his career.

ERIK KLINGA

Erik Klinga, b.1991 in Sandviken, Sweden, is a composer and musician. Klinga is known from the bands Simian Ghost, Light Vibes and Horse Show and has played in multiple projects as a drummer including acts such as Solen, Dolce and Mi von Ahn. He has a studio based practice and creates electronic music with an interest in developing works focusing on timbre, melody and harmony in repetition based form structures. Driven by curiosity in finding new sound relations he’s mainly working with synthesized and acoustic sources together with field recordings. A substantial part of his work involves working with modular synthesis in the Buchla format, on which he composes and performs live. His music moves within and between genres such as dark ambient, drone, minimalism, and electronica. Klinga has performed his music live at festivals and venues, nationally and internationally, at Norbergfestival, Malmö konstmuseum, Organ Sound Art Festival (Copenhagen), Mengi (Reykjavik), Ekko festival (Bergen), KET (Athens), Organ Sound Art Festival (Copenhagen), Inkonst (Malmö) and Thanatosis festival (Stockholm) amongst others. Erik holds a bachelor degree in

Árni Valur’s engagement with electronic music dates back to the mid 90’s,

over the past decade the primary focus of his artistic practice has been on film scoring, experimental video production and improvised performance.

Stefanos Skialivas is a Reykjavík-based musician and music technologist building DIY interfaces for neural audio synthesis and feedback systems.

In their improvised duo performances they will explore electromagnetic fields and modulated lights and render

them audible.
